平时如此，还是正在发生？

I always read some book when finish work.

I always read books when I finish work.

这是反复发生的习惯，所以两个动作都用一般现在时：read、finish。

when I finish work 是一个小句子，仍然需要自己的主语 I。英语不能像中文一样直接省略这里的“我”。

一般现在时：习惯、规律、通常如此的事情。

I read after work.
I usually study at night.
She reads every evening.

always、usually、often、every day 经常出现在这种语境中。

现在进行时：正在发生，或当前阶段的临时情况。

I am reading now.
I am currently learning English.
She is working from home this week.

结构：am / is / are + 动词-ing。now、at the moment、this week 常帮助建立语境。

habit 习惯
Reading after work is a habit.

regular 经常的；有规律的
This is part of my regular routine.

usually 通常
I usually read at night.

currently 当前；目前
I am currently learning English.

temporary 暂时的
This is a temporary situation.

at the moment 此刻；目前
I am working at the moment.
