一个、两个，还是那个？

今天修正两个真实错误：用名词复数表示“几个东西”，用冠词说明“任意一个”还是“特定的那个”。

1. 先修正你刚才的两句话

I have made app twice.

I have built two apps.

two apps 是两个应用；twice 是同一个动作发生两次。数量修饰名词，次数修饰动作。

I have not finished second app yet.

I haven't finished the second app yet.

the second app 指顺序中确定的“第二个应用”，所以需要 the。

2. 数量还是次数？

哪一项能补全 I have built ______.，表达“两个有用的应用”？

3. 单数可数名词不能独自出现

app、book、idea 都是可数名词。单数形式前通常需要一个限定词，告诉读者你指哪一个。

a / an + 单数名词：第一次提到，或不指定是哪一个。

I built a travel app.
She had an idea.

a 放在辅音音素前；an 放在元音音素前。判断依据是后面单词的声音，不是只看首字母。

the + 名词：双方知道是哪一个，或上下文已经确定。

I built a travel app last year.
The app helps people plan trips.

I haven't finished the second app yet.

第一次说 a travel app，第二次再提同一个应用时，它已经是特定对象，所以变成 the app。

An app is a countable item.

quantity 数量
Two shows the quantity of apps.

specific 特定的；明确的
The refers to a specific app.

general 一般的；总体的
Apps are useful. 谈应用这一类事物的总体情况。

several 几个
I have tested several apps. 后接可数名词复数。

another 另一个
I want to build another app. 后接单数名词。

6. a 还是 an？

你第一次告诉朋友“我下载了一个英语应用”。
